<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable superconducting fault current limiter by suppressing application of an overvoltage to a quench part and reducing the burden thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of coil parts 12a-12d, 13a-13d are connected in series and then connected in parallel for each coil part 12a-12d, 13a-13d paired by non-inductive winding, and a plurality of sets of parallel connection constitute first and second current limiting coils 12, 13 that constitute a fault current limiting coil 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
