An optical measuring device (1) for carrying out the spectroscopic measurement of return light either reflected or scattered by a biological sample (6) and acquiring a feature value of the biological sample (6) is characterized in being provided with: a probe (3) having an irradiation fiber (5) for propagating light supplied from the proximal end and irradiating with the light from the distal end, and a plurality of light-receiving fibers (7, 8) for propagating light respectively incident thereon from the distal end and outputting the light from the proximal end; and a balloon (41) which includes a cut surface of the probe (3) perpendicular to the long axis of the probe (3) and blocks off light in a region of a greater surface area than the cut surface, the balloon being provided to a distal end (33) of the probe (3).
