<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting system that increases a light-emitting area so as not to be dazzled by light from an LED arranged in annular shape, without deteriorating light extraction efficiency, and has various light distributions according to necessity, in a range from a spot light distribution for condensing light to a wide-angle light distribution for illuminating a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lighting system 10 is provided with LEDs 22 arranged in an annular shape, a lens 30 which is formed in an annular shape corresponding to the arrangement of the LEDs 22, and a reflector 40 which surrounds the lens 30. The lens 30 has a projecting first surface 351 to totally reflect in the outer periphery direction the light traveling from the LED 22 to the front, a projecting second surface 352 to transmit the light from the projecting first surface 351, an inner periphery side first surface 331 to total reflect to the front the light going from the LED 22 in the inner periphery direction, and an inner periphery side second surface 332 to transmit the light from the inner periphery side first surface 331.
