<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis driving device for elevator restoration at an earthquake that can practice restoration diagnosis operation in a state a possibility of a failure of elevator equipment is low. <P>SOLUTION: The diagnosis driving device for elevator restoration at an earthquake designed for deciding the availability of restoration from a resting state by performing a restoration diagnosis operation at the earthquake for the elevator which is brought into a resting state by an earthquake control operation started by a seismometer 8 provided in a building sensing vibration is mounted with vibration detection sensors 9, 10, and 11 on multiple elevator devices of 1, 3, and 6, respectively. When an after-shock is generated, the vibration detection sensors 9 to 11 that correspond to the devices detect the magnitude of the vibration of each elevator instrument of 1, 3, or 6 to decide the availability of restoration.
