<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic device capable of improving workability in a dielectric strength test and preventing an operation mistake after the execution of the test. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device of the present invention includes: surge protection means (varistors 3, 4, 5); a protected circuit 1 for which surge protection is performed; a short-circuiting connector 6 for opening a circuit between the varistor 5 and a ground point at the time of a dielectric strength test of the protected circuit 1 and cancelling the surge protection by the surge protection means; and a short-circuiting connector insertion/extraction detecting circuit 8 for monitoring opening/closing states of the circuit in a case where operation of starting power supply to the protected circuit 1 is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
