PURPOSE: A remote monitoring system for photovoltaic generation is provided to conveniently and rapidly monitor whether a solar cell functions or not by using a mobile terminal at a remote location. CONSTITUTION: A solar cell array(100) arranges solar cells converting solar energy into electric energy in columns and rows. A communication part(150) receives a sensed output voltage and transmits wirelessly to a first communication network(200). A server(300) determines whether a solar electric cell malfunctions or not based on a received output voltage through a first communication network and generates a corresponding message to be transmitted wirelessly to a second communication network(400) if it is determined that a solar electric cell has a malfunction. A mobile device(500) confirms the message in real time without performing a separate application when receiving the message through a second communication network by installing a monitoring application for remotely monitoring a photovoltaic generation.
