<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which inhibits the damage from occurring in a laminated body, and to provide a manufacturing method of the electronic component. <P>SOLUTION: A laminated body 12 is formed by laminating multiple insulator layers. External electrodes 14a, 14b are respectively formed by laminating multiple conductor layers which penetrate parts of the multiple insulator layers in the lamination direction (y axis direction) and are exposed to the exterior of the laminated body 12. The remaining of the multiple insulator layers is laminated on at least one side surface of each external electrode 14a, 14b in the lamination direction.
