<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system capable of improving remote controllability by allowing images to be obtained from stereoscopic cameras mounted on a mobile body to provide a realistic sensation in imitation of an image viewed from the mobile body by an operator. <P>SOLUTION: A remote control system includes: a mobile body; a remote controller 2 for remotely controlling the mobile body; and a storage part 38 for storing a background image imitating the operation chamber or maneuvering chamber of the mobile body. The mobile body includes: stereo cameras 15; drive parts 17, 18, 19 for controlling the imaging directions of the stereo cameras; and a first communication part 34 for performing the communication of information including at least images captured by the stereo cameras. The remote controller includes: a second communication part 37 for performing communication with the first communication part; a control part for controlling the mobile body; and a display part 41 for synthesizing at least a part of the images captured by the stereo cameras with a background image and stereoscopically displaying them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
