<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine capable of increasing a braking force without increasing an exhaust pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A multilink 13 to which a crank pin 14 and a connecting rod 12 are turnably connected, and a rocking joint 15 whose one end is turnably connected to the multilink 13, and whose other end is turnably fixed to a vertically movable rocking joint supporting point 16, are installed on an exhaust brake. In operation of the exhaust brake, the stroke length of a piston 2 is increased by moving the rocking joint supporting point 16 interlockingly with the closing of an exhaust pipe 7 by a valve 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
