<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate image data which makes it possible to output a dot pattern having higher dispersibility than before by taking an image formation process into consideration as well. <P>SOLUTION: In an image formation device, one and the same region on a recording medium is recorded N times (N=integer equal to or greater than 3), whereby an image is formed on the recording medium, the device being characterized by recording data generation means which generates recording data corresponding to each of the recording, halftone processing means which converts the recording data into halftone image data by a dither method using a dot scattered type matrix, and that the halftone processing means generates halftone image data at the k'th time so that the dispersibility of a dot pattern produced by accumulating each of the halftone image data for recordings up to the k'th time (2≤k≤N-1) in the same region will be heightened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
