<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester for underground stem crops in which the operator can visually confirm the condition of the height from the upper surface of the cultivation ridge to the tip of the dragging conveyor easily. <P>SOLUTION: The harvester for underground stem crops includes, at the front end of the dragging conveyer 3, a detection arm 80 which touches the upper surface of the planting ridge and swings up and down and an indication arm 83 which swings up and down synchronously with and in proportion to the movement of the detection arm 80 located above the dragging conveyer 3. The harvester also has, at the swinging end of the indication arm 83, a pointer scale 85 which exhibits the information on the height from the upper surface of the planting ridge to the tip of the dragging conveyer 3 and, in addition, which turns to the direction to be confirmed visually by the operator riding on the tractor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
