<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to downsize a connection substrate of a rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a rotor; a stator; and a connection substrate which performs connection processing of an end 7a of a winding of the stator with a predetermined connection pattern. A connection substrate is constituted by multiply disposing a coating rectangular wire, which is a conductive wire, divided by a defective part, in a radial direction, and has a plurality of conductive members 110 connected to the winding end 7a and an annular insulation member 120 which coats at least a part of a surface of the conductive member 110.
