<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a start-up time of a server system. <P>SOLUTION: Processing of processing units 500 to 504 are executed on a service processor in a server system. The processing unit 500 writes location information of a CPU core in a rewritable ROM of a CPU from BMCFW in a FLASHROM. The processing unit 501 reads out the location information of the CPU core from the ROM. The processing unit 502 reads out the location information of the CPU core in a FLASHROM in a MGMT 102, and synchronizes it with the location information of the CPU core stored in the ROM. The processing unit 503 resets the CPU core to be assigned to the server system when the server system starts up, and it can reduce read-out processing of the CPU core and reassignment processing of the CPU core for starting up the server system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
