<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a printing apparatus capable of cleaning a platen with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: In a platen cleaning mode, a cleaning sheet supplied from a supply part is conveyed until the sheet trailing edge reaches the downstream side of a nip position of a first roller, and then, the cleaning sheet is reciprocated at least once by a second roller with such a stroke as not to allow the sheet trailing edge to return to the nip position of the first roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
