<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid capable of rotating a rotary body smoothly or stopping the rotary body at an appropriate position when locking a locking mechanism, while limiting the torque required for rotation of the rotary body, and to provide a substrate container. <P>SOLUTION: A lid 11 includes a locking mechanism 30 interposed between the lid 11 and a cover plate and having a locking click 41 retractable by rotation of a rotary reel 31, and position control means 50 for controlling the rotational position of the rotary reel 31. The position control means 50 includes a link 51 which oscillates according to rotation of the rotary reel 31, a spring 55 coupled with the rotary reel 31 and the link 51, and a position regulation pin 57 which comes into contact with a contact groove 52 of the link 51. In the way of rotation of the rotary reel 31 from an unlocked position to a locked position, the link 51 is oscillated to change the orientation for the rotary reel 31 in the way of rotation, thus altering the direction of a biasing force acting on the rotary reel 31 to the rotation direction thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
