<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for liquid which does not deform even if exposed to the environment under high temperature for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The container for liquid is constituted of: a body member 2 which is formed in a cylindrical shape having a polygonal or circular cross section and is obtained by using as material, a metallic foil having a hot-melt adhesive resin layer or a stainless steel foil having no hot-melt adhesive resin layer on at least a front surface or a rear surface of the body member; cover members 3 joined to opening parts at both ends of the body member; and an inlet and outlet member 6 including an inlet and an outlet for liquid joined to at least one of the cover members. The container for liquid is obtained by joining the body member, the cover member and the inlet and outlet member.
