<p>The method involves localizing a major peak of an autocorrelation function of a reception signal by using a particulate filter i.e. Kalman filter. A development point is selected from existing particles of the filter, where the development point is a particle with high probability for the major peak. A new particle of the filter is produced around the development point based on a probability distribution density function, which comprises high probability density in a range of distances of secondary maxima on right and left of the major peak.</p> |
