<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure using a metal gasket, which is structured not to form a gap in which saltwater stays between the metal gasket and a casing, and thereby in which the corrosion of the casing due to the stay of saltwater hardly occurs and seal function is maintained over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: A single metal gasket disposed between a pair of casings is provided. The metal gasket includes: an outer peripheral part having a planar shape; and a bead part formed upright from the inner peripheral end part of the outer peripheral part. The bead part is in contact with one of the casings, and the outer peripheral part is disposed to be in contact with the other casing. When the metal gasket is interposed and pressed by the pair of casings, the bead part elastically deforms so that the height thereof is reduced, and accompanying the elastic deformation thereof, the outer peripheral part also elastically deforms. At this time, the distal end of the outer peripheral part is in contact with one of the casings, and thereby being structured not to form a gap in which saltwater stays between one of the casings and the metal gasket. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
