<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer which allows users to open a lid in a washing process without compromising safety. <P>SOLUTION: A washer 1 comprises a control device for controlling a motor 12a, which rotates a rotary tub 6 for containing laundry and an agitator 7 disposed at a bottom surface of the rotary tub 6, in order to implement a series of processes of washing, rinsing and dewatering of the laundry contained in the rotary tub 6. The control device shortens an ON time in which the motor 12a is driven when a lid opening detection means 27 detects the opening of a lid 19 for opening and closing a laundry inlet 17 of the rotary tub 6 in the washing process in which the motor 12a is repeatedly driven and stopped, thereby intermittently rotating the agitator 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
