<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound composition inducing pluripotent stem cells, and an undifferentiated cell marker expression regulator. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a pluripotent stem cell inducer including single-stranded polynucleotides or double-stranded polynucleotides containing a specific base sequence or a base sequence in which 1-3 bases are deleted, substituted or added to the base sequence, and inducing cells to pluripotent stem cells. The pluripotent stem cell inducer contains a small RNA inducing the cells to the pluripotent stem cells.
