PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively provide notification information on an event such as a traffic accident and a road fault to a vehicle requiring the information.

SOLUTION: The information provision system according to the invention includes a plurality of agents 1A. Each of the agents 1A includes an information generation part 102 for generating notification information by detecting occurrence of an event, a vehicle specification part 103 for specifying a vehicle running along a travel track of a vehicle which has encountered an event from vehicles specified by probe information, and a communication control part 101 for notifying the specified vehicle of the notification information. The communication control part 101 selects another agent 1A that should be notified of the notification information on the basis of the travel track of the vehicle which has encountered the event.
