<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an instrument panel structure for mitigating an impact to be received by an occupant from a display at a vehicle collision. <P>SOLUTION: A display cluster 50 a display 12 includes a cluster upper 52 and a cluster lower 54. In the cluster upper 52, a claw part 74A is arranged as an energy absorbing means, and is engaged with a recess 13A formed in an opening 13 of an instrument panel body 15. A frame body 72 is arranged in the cluster upper 52, and an engagement piece 74 is arranged in the cluster lower 54. An attachment part 64C of the engagement piece 74 is engaged with the frame body 72. When the engaged claw part 74A, attachment part 64C, and frame body 72 are disengaged, the claw part 74A, the attachment part 64C, and the frame body 72 are deformed, to absorb impact energy.
