<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in first print out time in a recording media delivery system. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 501 controls an image forming system in which a first image forming device 101 is connected to a second image forming device 102 provided downstream of the first image forming device 101, and in which the first image forming device 101 forms an image on a first side of a recording medium, a front side and a back side of the recording medium are reversed, and the second image forming device 102 forms an image on a second side of the recording medium. The control unit 501 includes a CPU 503. Upon face-down delivery (S804) when the recording medium with the images formed on the first side and the second side by the image forming system is delivered to a delivery tray, the CUP 503 causes the first image forming device 101 to form image data for an odd-numbered page, and also causes the second image forming device 102 to form image data for an even-numbered page.
