<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of acquiring files compliant with a plurality of kinds of standards stored in an external device and easily processing the acquired files compliant with the plurality of kinds of standards. <P>SOLUTION: The recording device includes an acquisition part for acquiring a first file compliant with a standard specifying a type of a codec and a second file compliant with a standard not specifying a type of a codec, and a recording part for recording the first file acquired by the acquisition part without encoding it again by a different codec, and recording the second file acquired by the acquisition part by encoding it again by a different codec to a recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
