A composition comprises a cured blend of an elastomer, an epoxy resin, a filler, a peroxide curing agent for the elastomer, and an epoxy resin hardening agent which is an ethylenically unsaturated polycarboxylic acid or anhydride. The preferred ingredients include polybutadiene, a cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, fumaric acid or fumaric or maleic anhydride, silica and 2, 5- bis(tertiary butyl peroxy) - 2,5 - dimethyl hexane. The composition is useful for making unitary golf balls. |
