<p>A standard segment for a crane. The cross section of the standard segment is a polygon. The number of sides of the polygon is greater than 5. Each vertex of the polygon is provided with a vertical main chord (1). The number of the sides of the polygon is greater than 5, and each vertex of the polygon is provided with a vertical main chord (1), so the number of the main chords (1) is increased. Therefore, with the lifting torque of the crane remaining unchanged, the load borne by each main chord (1) may be decreased, so as to decrease the cross-sectional area of the main chord (1), decrease the manufacturing difficulty and installation difficulty of the main chord (1), and decrease the difficulty in purchasing the main chord (1). The cross-sectional area of the main chord (1) is decreased, so the cross-sectional area of shaped steel for the main chord (1) also decreases, thereby reducing original defects of the shaped steel, and ensuring safety in use of the crane.</p> |
