<p>The method involves receiving self-test control signal and detecting actual position of actuator by a position controller (9). The position controller moves drive (6) of a predetermined test stroke. The desired value of a desired stroke is larger than a test stroke, where the pneumatic drive is immediately moved back after finishing of self testing. The self-test is reported as successful passed into a superordinate device, if the predetermined test stroke is met in a predetermined set time.</p> |
