<p>An electromagnetic flow meter with new grounding arrangement and a grounding method for the electromagnetic flow- meter are provided. The electromagnetic flow meter comprises: a flow meter body having an annular groove at an inner circumference thereof; a grounding ring configured to be received in the groove, wherein the grounding ring is, in operation, used to be in electrical contact with a conductive fluid passing through the flow meter body; and at least one fixing assembly configured to fix the grounding ring received in the groove to the flow meter body and electrically connect the grounding ring to an outside grounding point. With this new grounding arrangement and method, different from using the grounding electrode and flanges-fixed grounding ring, a larger contact area is established between the grounding ring and the corresponding fluid, and the grounding effects and thus the accuracy of measurement of the electromagnetic flow meter are guaranteed and improved.</p> |
