1278501 Adjustable seat COMPAGNIE NATIONALE AIR FRANCE 18 July 1969 [18 July 1968] 4404/69 Heading A4J A chair particularly for use in aeroplanes comprises a back 7 and a seat 8 pivoted together at 9 and simultaneously moveable relative to two side frames 2 by the engagement of pins 9, 10 and 11 in slots 5, 6 and 4 respectively formed in the side frames, pins 10 and 11 being on the back and seat respectively, slot 6 being inclined at 20 degrees to the vertical and slot 4 being horizontal. An arm rest 3 which is fixed or moveable relative to the horizontal may be provided. The seat and back may be held in position by a hydraulically operated lock. The back and seat may each comprise at least two jointed parts each part being moveable by means of a pin and slide. |
