<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact supporting tool with improved assembling workability. <P>SOLUTION: The supporting tool 3 fitted to a square cylindrical pedestal frame provided on a pallet and supporting a workpiece at a distance from the pallet includes a body part 21 having a placing part 23 supporting a lower surface of the workpiece, and a flange part 25 supported on an upper side part of the pedestal frame, and a fitting part 31 projected downward from the body part 21. The fitting part 31 includes a guide leg part 32 inserted into the pedestal frame with the flange part 25 supported on the pedestal frame, and an locking piece 33. The locking piece 33 is provided in pair and is configured to be elastically deformable. A latch claw 34 to be latched to a lower side part of the pedestal frame is formed on its leading end part.
