<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for an airbag inflator excellent in filter strength and filter property, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the filter for an airbag inflator including steps of preparing a mat wire mesh, rolling the mat wire mesh, and winding the mat wire mesh after being rolled into a cylindrical shape, the step of winding the mat wire mesh after rolling into a cylindrical shape includes a first step of fixing the mat wire meshes overlapping each other in winding once or twice, a second step of further winding the mat wire mesh once or twice or more after fixing, and a third step of fixing the outermost mat wire mesh after being further wound once or twice or more and a mat wire mesh adjacent to the outermost mat wire mesh to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
