<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller mold for precisely and easily transferring a predetermined pattern to a body to be transferred in the imprinting using light regardless of the translucency or the shape of the body to be transferred, to provide a base material for the roller mold, and to provide a pattern transfer method. <P>SOLUTION: The roller mold for imprint has the predetermined pattern formed on the main surface of an outer peripheral part along the rotary shaft direction.
