PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manifold for a waste collection system that minimizes the discharge of uncontained liquid and toxic gas when removing and exchanging the manifold.

SOLUTION: The manifold includes a housing and a drip stop. The housing includes: a fitting for receiving a suction line into a void space; a base 168 arranged on the opposite side of the fitting and having an outer surface; an outlet opening 170 that is smaller than the base receiving the fitting integral with a receiver; and a lip 172 that extends outward to the base and extends radially away from the outlet opening. The drip stop 174 is fitted in the outlet opening. The drip stop includes: a base outer part that is adjacent to the outer surface of the base and seats in a space defined by the lip; a base inner part that is positioned on the base outer part and extends radially away to the outlet opening, where the fitting of the receiver passes and penetrates the base; and a valve that is positioned above the base inner part and selectively blocks a fluid flow out of the housing outlet opening.
