<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle frame structure capable of preventing damage to a reinforcing body or a foam adhesive caused by welding heat generated during welding metal plates, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A frame body 10 has an overlap part 14 formed by overlapping two metal plates 11, 12 in inward and outward directions of the frame body 10, and the reinforcing body 20 is arranged at the inward side of the frame body 10 at a predetermined space from the overlap part 16 and joined to the inner wall of the overlap part 14 with the foam adhesive 40. At least the first metal plate 11 located at the most inward side of the frame body 10 out of the two metal plates 11, 12 located on the overlap part 14 has a protruded portion 11b which is protruded to the outward side of the frame body 10 so as to be isolated from the reinforcing body 20.
