<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for an elevator capable of avoiding passengers from becoming panicky and appropriately guiding the passengers to another evacuation route upon occurrence of a disaster. <P>SOLUTION: The control system includes a fire detector 2, an elevator controller 4, a monitoring camera 3, a disaster prevention management device 1, an over loading sensor unit 14, and an informing device. The controller 4 shifts the elevator to a mode of evacuation in time of disaster when occurrence of a fire is detected by the fire detector 2. The monitoring camera 3 is disposed on a predetermined evacuation route. The disaster prevention management device 1 determines whether the evacuation route is utilizable based on image information from the monitoring camera 3. Then, when over loading of a car is detected continuously for a predetermined time period by the over loading sensor unit 14, the controller 4 makes the informing device inform of information on the evacuation route determined to be utilizable by the disaster prevention management device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
