<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow output of an output paper density adjustment chart, and a sample image correction chart without decreasing productivity in an image forming apparatus that executes double-side alternate conveyance, and extend a life of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus, a control unit causes an image forming unit to form an image of a single-sided correction chart during continuous image formation of front faces in double-sided image formation by double-side alternate conveyance, or in idle time between image formation of a precedent sheet and image formation of a subsequent sheet during continuous image formation of rear faces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
