<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner, which causes no filming on a contact member such as a developer carrier and a photoreceptor even in long-term use, can output an image with stabilized picture quality and is applicable to an image forming apparatus employing an electrophotographic system. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises a binder resin, a colorant, wax and an external additive, and is obtained by depositing the external additive on toner base particles and then subjecting the particles to a mixing and stirring treatment with beads. The mixing and stirring treatment is carried out under the condition of a weight ratio (toner/beads) of the toner to beads of 0.35 or more and 0.75 or less. The beads have an average particle diameter of 3 mm or more and 20 mm or less and surface roughness Ra of 1 μm or more and 50 μm or less, and are wholly coated with a resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
