PURPOSE: A socket type lighting apparatus with water-proofing and electric shock preventing functions is provided to prevent an electric shock accident by arranging a waterproofing and electric shock prevention part in an opening portion of a socket or a shade of a bulb. CONSTITUTION: A waterproofing and electric shock prevention part(3) is installed in an opening portion of a socket(1) or a shade(22) of a bulb. The waterproofing and electric shock prevention part is shaped into a flexible spring tube type to have elasticity. The waterproofing and electric shock prevention part is made out of silicon or raw rubber. The waterproofing and electric shock prevention part is attached by an adhesive. The waterproofing and electric shock prevention part is attachably and detachably installed through a male and female fixing member.
