METHOD FOR PRODUCING BINDER FOR INKJET PRINTING INK, INKJET PRINTING INK, AND PRINTED MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a binder for inkjet printing ink, which is excellent in ink discharge properties and composition stability, and can form printed matter with excellent scratch resistance and alkali resistance.

SOLUTION: The method for producing a binder for inkjet printing ink includes steps of: (1) reacting a polyol and a polyisocyanate in an organic solvent or the like to obtain a polyurethane (A1) and supplying an organic solvent thereto as needed to prepare an organic solvent solution [I] of the polyurethane (A1); (2) mixing the organic solvent solution [I], the epoxy compound (A2), the acetylene compound (B) and the aqueous medium to produce a mixture [II] including a composite resin particle (A3) formed by reacting the polyurethane (A1) and the epoxy compound (A2); and (3) removing part or all of the organic solvent included in the mixture [II].
