PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel silane compound increased in adhesion with a substrate to improve developing properties of a photosensitive resin composition; a photosensitive resin composition including the silane compound; a photosensitive material manufactured using the silane compound; and an electronic element manufactured using the silane compound.

SOLUTION: The silane compound is represented by chemical formula (1). In the chemical formula (1): R1is a 1-5C alkyl group; R2are each independently a halogen group or -C(R3)3; R3is a halogen group; and a is 1-5.
