<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cutting die having superior durability, capable of stably cutting out blank materials, each having a straight line part at a part of the contour, and to provide a rotary cutter using the die. <P>SOLUTION: A cutter roll 1 includes a cylindrical roll part 4, and cutting blades 5 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical roll part 4. Each of the cutting blades 5 has edges formed at the top end in a tapered protruded state, being formed to have a three-dimensional shape corresponding to the contour of the blank material on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical roll part 4. Each of cutting edges of partial blades 6a and 6c for cutting a pair of sides opposite to each other of the blank material extends to have a curve connecting different two points with the shortest path on the outer peripheral surface of the roll part, and is not positioned on a plane including a center axis of the roll part. More specifically, when the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical roll part 4 and the cutting blade 5 are developed on a plane, the partial blades 6a and 6c form straight lines, each line being at a predetermined angle with a straight line orthogonal to one side extending in a rotation direction of the cylindrical roll part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
