<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container that satisfies strength requirements prescribed by ISO standards while maintaining high workability for carrying freight in and out. <P>SOLUTION: The ISO standard-compliant container 1 has at least: a freight chamber 5 in which freight is loaded; and side doors 3 that are provided on the sides of the freight chamber 5 in the longitudinal direction and are obtained from pairs of doors that open to the right and left from near the center of the longitudinal direction of the freight chamber 5. Each of the pairs of doors that configure the side doors 3 are obtained from: sub-doors 3L-1, 3R-1 near the center; and sub-doors 3L-2, 3R-2 that are mounted to rotate freely on the sides of the freight chamber 5 via hinges 6a and support the sub-doors 3L-1, 3R-1 to rotate freely via hinges 6b.
