<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect that a command has been modified by a so-called suspending board. <P>SOLUTION: When a command for reel motion to be transmitted from a main board to a sub board does not match the reel motion estimated in the sub board, an abnormal condition is determined to issue an error notification. The command to be transmitted from the main board to the sub board includes: a rotation start command showing that the rotation of a plurality of reels has been started; a press symbol command showing press of a stop button and a symbol thus obtained; a passing symbol count command showing the number of symbols passing from the press of the stop button to the stop of the reel; and a stop symbol command showing the stop of the reel and the symbol thus obtained.
