<p>A source selection method and device for time synchronization. The method comprises: a boundary clock device or a slave clock device performing clock source selection according to one or more of the following parameters of a clock source: a reference clock source quality level, a reference time source quality level, whether a reference clock source and a reference time source are located at one same device, a current device port clock priority parameter, a message delay change index, a time synchronization link symmetry index. The solution is used for implementing a source selection policy of time synchronization and may perform source selection by fully utilizing multiple relevant parameters, thereby enhancing the reasonableness of source selection. The solution may also implement a protection mechanism for a time synchronization network, perform protection switching, sense and handle some special failures of a clock synchronization network in time, support the interaction between a clock synchronization network and a time synchronization network, enhance the flexibility of protection switching of a time synchronization network, and guarantee that the performance of time synchronization is not affected.</p> |
