A pole change type synchronous electric motor having a position variable exciting pole is provided to change the characteristics of the motor like synchronization speed and torque by controlling intensity of a magnet layer. In a pole change type synchronous electric motor(100), a stator(110) has a number of teeth(111) wound with a motor coil(112), and a position variable groove is prepared between the teeth, and one or a number of first protrusions(114) are formed on both sides of the position variable groove. A rotor(120) rotates from the stator, and has a number of conductors(122) installed along the edge. A magnet layer(130) is installed in the rotor to have an air gap with the tooth, and is made of a material to be re-magnetized. An exciting pole(140) is installed in the position variable groove(113) of the stator to face the magnet layer, and has one or a number of second protrusions(142) on both sides, and controls the gap with the magnet layer according to the connection position of the first protrusion and the second protrusion, and is wound with an excitation coil(141), and performs magnetization to arrange poles on the magnet layer in turn. |
