HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUND, LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT, LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE, ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND LIGHTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel heterocyclic compounds usable as a host material dispersing a light-emitting substance in a light-emitting layer of a light-emitting element and a light-emitting element having a low driving voltage and a high current efficiency.

SOLUTION: The light-emitting element includes a compound(s) in which a dibenzo[f, h]quinoline ring and a hole carrying backbone are bonded together through an arylene group. Light-emitting devices, electronic equipment and lighting apparatuses using the light-emitting element are also provided. The light-emitting element contains a heterocyclic compound having a structure of formula (G1), wherein, A is an optionally substituted carbazolyl group, an optionally substituted dibenzothiophenyl group or an optionally substituted dibenzofuranyl group; R11to R20are independently a hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group or an optionally substituted 6-13C aryl group; and Ar is a 6-13C arylene group optionally having a substituent(s), with the substituents optionally bonded mutually to form a ring.
