<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a control device that easily secures a desired power generation amount. <P>SOLUTION: The control device includes: a mode control unit 52 that switches a first control mode and a second control mode, and a third control mode that makes a rotary electric machine 12 power generation in a directly connecting engagement state of a first engagement device C1 and a slip connecting state of a second engagement device C2 and a fourth control mode that makes the rotary electric machine 12 power generation in a slip engagement state of the first engagement device C1 and in the direct connecting engagement state of the second engagement device C2, and a target amount acquisition unit 51 that obtains at least either of temperature and the heat generation amount of the second engagement device C2.
