<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of ensuring a large tank volume for an installation area though it has a compact constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat pump type water heater, a water heat exchanger 56 is disposed below a hot water storage tank 33 in a casing 1. The hot water storage tank 33 has leg sections 6, and is supported at a position higher than a bottom surface 3 of the casing 1 by a prescribed height by the leg sections 6. A recess is formed on a heat insulator 7 having a prescribed thickness, and the water heat exchanger 56 is disposed in the recess. The heat insulator 7 is disposed on the bottom surface 3 of the casing 1 while being positioned by the leg sections 6 of the hot water storage tank 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
