<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for appropriately performing a second process when a first process and the second process are performed. <P>SOLUTION: The control apparatus comprises first processing means, second processing means, storage means. and specific means. The first processing means performs the first process in which image data are supplied to display means for displaying the image data. The second processing means performs a second process performed in parallel with the first process and performed to create the second data obtained by subjecting first data to a specific image process. In a first case where the number of second data stored in the storage means is specified to be smaller than a prescribed threshold, the first processing means performs the first process at a first rate per unit period.
