<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality for recording an image by dividing an optical writing light flux into a plurality of pieces. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus 1, k-color data k are divided into dark black data Dk and light black data Lk different in darkness at a plate-dividing part 74 of a color conversion unit 58 of an image processing unit 50, a light scanner 27b divides one laser beam Lk which is modulated on the basis of the two image data Dk, Lk different in darkness and emitted from one semiconductor laser 33 into laser beams Lku, Lkl at each image data Dk, Lk, the divided laser beams are made to pass on divided light-scanning passages and made to scan on photoreceptors 25Dk, 25Lk, respectively, and the plate-dividing part 74 adjusts data values of the black and light image data Dk, Lk which are input into the semiconductor laser 33 by using a plate-dividing table which is decided on the basis of the light transmittance efficiency of the divided light-scanning passages of the light scanner 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
